I live in a two bedroom, two bathroom condo in Rutherford Village but since I am only one person, I have a whole second bedroom I'd like to find a roommate for. The room is approximately 8.5*12 feet and has a decently sized closet. The building is single, small pet friendly and since I don't have any pets that means the pet spot is available if someone has a cat or small dog (must be house trained) up to 40lbs. No extra pet charge but I will take payment in the form of getting to pet and love them! Cats preferred but small, house-trained dogs also considered :) The $900 rent (with equivalent damage deposit) includes all utilities, air conditioning, high speed internet, in-suite laundry, your own bathroom (okay, it's the main bathroom so visitors would use it too, but you wouldn't share it with me!) and a heated underground parking stall. The room is painted gray because the previous owners thought that would be a great neutral colour and not depressing at all, but the roommate would have total freedom to paint the walls or decorate however. No need to fear putting holes in the walls for hanging things. Located right across the street from grocery stores, banks, misc strip mall places, and close to South Edmonton Common, Windermere, the highway/Gateway Blvd, a library, and more! There's a bus stop right outside the building to Century Park for the LRT, and someday maybe the heritage valley line will be done construction and that'll be even closer. About me, who you would be living with: I'm 34, she/her, been vegan almost ten years now, and have recently gone back to university. I like standard nerdy things like board games, videogames, reading, anime, etc. Mostly introverted and prefer home to be a calm kind of place but do occasionally like to have friends over for games nights and such. I'm bi and poly (my partner has another partner), so not looking for someone who has a problem with either of those. Biggest caveat is that I am looking for someone who is willing to not bring meat into the house (pet food being an exception). I recognize this will limit applicants but it's important to me so it is what it is
