I am looking for one roommate to share my 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom beautiful apartment in Fairview. The room is available for move-in between July 1 and 15. Early move-in in late June is also possible. The apartment was freshly painted last fall and comes fully furnished except your bedroom. The bedroom fits a queen size bed, a desk, and a chest of drawers. The photo shows its current furniture arrangement and I can share photos of past arrangements. The bedroom comes with a private bathroom. There are a washer, a dryer, and a dishwasher in the unit. Please note that I have a very sweet cat and we are not allowed to have more pets. The unit is on the top floor of a quiet apartment building. I have lived here for 9 years and value my relationships with my neighbours, so I want a roommate who is quiet and does not smoke or use drugs. The room is not suitable for couples, sorry! The apartment is located a couple blocks from 2 parks and a community centre, and around the corner from multiple cafes, restaurants, and other businesses. The neighbourhood is very green and family oriented. There are excellent transit options, including a bus to UBC (33) stopping one block away. Buses 17, 15, and the BLine are also within a walking distance. Canada Line Skytrain is a 15-minute walk or a 5-minute bus ride away. I am a health care professional in my 40s and work full-time. I enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities from hiking and backpacking to skiing. I grow house plants and some veggies in the summer. As for the roommate life, I enjoy friendly chats in the kitchen or occasional shared activities. I am open to becoming friends but I am equally happy with a friendly co-existence.
