Arrow Creek to Yahk
14.04 acres in Arrow Creek, about 15 minutes from downtown Creston. The land is a mix of open field and mature trees, with a large hay meadow running up through the middle of the property and mountain views in nearly every direction. The open ground sits in one large piece rather than small scattered pockets, so it is easier to fence, work or build on. There is a lot of usable land here, not easy to find on an acreage this size. Toward the back the ground rolls gently and the trees close in, giving you a sheltered spot away from the road. An old log barn sits near the front of the property. It has been standing a long time and still has character, so it may be worth keeping for storage or as a feature. There is also an older house here. It has been vacant for years and will most likely need to be torn down or removed, so plan on that as part of the project. Power runs to the lot line. With the land open the way it is, you can place a home, shop or barn where you want instead of working around what is already there. There is more than one good building site here, and plenty of room to set outbuildings well back from the road. The setting is quiet, with paved road access and a few neighbours spread out along the road. Trees around the edges give privacy while the open field keeps the views wide. Hay ground, a hobby farm, horses, or just a private place to build, there is room for all of it. Parcels this size with this much open land are getting harder to find close to town. (id:374)
