Lot 3 sits in the lower row at The Ridge at Cedar Point RV Resort and Marina, a seasonal RV community on the east shore of Kootenay Lake in Boswell, about 45 minutes from downtown Creston. The site is 1,250 square feet and comes with a renewable 99 year licence to occupy, so you get a long term place on the lake without paying waterfront prices. This row is more open than the sites above it, which means wider views across the water to the mountains on the far shore, and it puts you a short walk from the marina and the main resort area. Power is at the lot line with 50 amp service, and the site is set up for community water and septic. The pad is level and sized for a large trailer or fifth wheel, with grass around the edges and room to set up chairs outside. Cedar Point sits behind a gated entrance off Highway 3A and runs as a full resort through the summer. You can rent a boat slip at the on site marina for $2,800 a year, and visiting family can book one of the rental cabins or a night in the campground. The lot is not waterfront, but Lockhart Beach Provincial Park is right next door with a public beach, swimming and picnic space, so beach days stay easy. Annual lot fees are $2,900. Kootenay Lake gives you clear water, good fishing and quiet mornings, and the drive up the east shore is one of the best in the Kootenays. Sites at The Ridge have been selling steadily, and this one settles the summer plans for the whole family for a long time to come. (id:374)
