A 37.31 acre cherry orchard on 33rd Avenue North in Erickson, about a 5 minute drive from downtown Creston and just north of Highway 3. Zoned AG1, Lot 2 is a full working orchard in one of the best known fruit growing areas of the Creston Valley. There are 32.5 acres planted in cherries, with 7.5 acres of Skeena, 12 acres of Lapin, and 13 acres of Staccato, three proven varieties that spread the harvest across the later part of the season. The trees are well established and in full production. Another 4 acres was previously in cherries and is ready to replant, giving a new owner the chance to add more trees or bring in a new variety. The property is fenced and has three separate stretches of frontage on 33rd Avenue North, with an entry in place now and the option to open up more access points off the road in the future. Rows run long and straight with grass alleys between them, making it easy to move equipment and bins through the blocks. Five wind machines are in place across the orchard for frost protection, and drip lines run along the tree rows. Farm roads circle the edges and split the sections, giving good access for picking crews and sprayers. The land sits open and sunny with mountain views on both sides of the valley. With the trees, wind machines, and fencing already in place, this is a ready to go operation for an established grower looking to add acreage or a new buyer wanting a large orchard that is still close to town.
