Freehold
Rare opportunity to acquire approximately 6.2 acres of land in the Goulds. Located on Ruby Line, this expansive parcel offers a unique blend of rural character and proximity to city amenities, making it an attractive option for agricultural, horticultural, forestry, and other rural-use pursuits. The property is zoned Agriculture (AG) under the City of St. John's Development Regulations. Permitted uses within the AG Zone include agricultural operations, horticulture, forestry uses, veterinary clinics, home offices, public utilities, and, subject to specific requirements, a single detached dwelling associated with an agricultural or forestry use. The zone also provides for a variety of discretionary uses, including farm markets, agricultural tourism operations, aquaculture, hydroponics, kennels, cidery/winery uses, indoor riding arenas, accessory dwelling units, and certain residential uses, subject to City approval. Whether you're looking to establish a working farm, expand an existing agricultural operation, create a hobby farm, or secure a long-term land holding in a growing area of St. John's, this property offers exceptional potential. Acreage opportunities of this size within the City are increasingly difficult to find. (id:374)
