Some homes are move-in ready. This one is "roll up your sleeves and call your contractor" ready. Welcome to 33 South Street, Springhill, where the view is doing most of the heavy lifting... and honestly, it deserves a raise. Perched on a quiet street just minutes from downtown, schools, shopping and everyday essentials, this property overlooks one of the prettiest valley views in Springhill. Seriously. Unless Anne Murray herself is standing in your backyard singing Snowbird, you're probably not finding a better one. This home needs extensive renovations and is currently not livable. If you're looking for a place to unpack your suitcase tonight... keep scrolling. If you're looking for a project with serious upside, you've just found it. The roof was done in 2023, so one of the expensive jobs has already been crossed off the list. The property also offers municipal water, its own septic system, and a lot that's just waiting for someone with vision (and maybe a strong coffee) to bring it back to life. The bonus? Besides the stunning view; two genuinely wonderful neighbours. You know... the kind who wave, keep an eye on things, and don't borrow your lawn mower without asking. Springhill is one of Nova Scotia's hidden gems. Rich in mining history, proudly known as the hometown of Anne Murray, and surrounded by ATV and snowmobile trails, golf courses, parks, and outdoor adventure, it offers small-town living with surprisingly convenient access. You're approximately 25 minutes to Amherst, one hour to Moncton, 45 minutes to the incredible beaches of the Northumberland Shore, and just over an hour to the Bay of Fundy, where the world's highest tides put on a show every day. Is it spooky? Maybe a little. Will your friends question your life choices when they first walk through it? Probably. Will they be asking who renovated it once you're finished? Absolutely. The only thing scarier than this house... is realizing someone else bought it before you did. (id:374)
