Lot 5 The Upper Whitehead development stretches along a long natural bay on the picturesque Eastern Shore, just a few miles from the mouth of a popular river. Our plots are conveniently situated between a quiet rural road and the untouched shoreline of a long natural harbor. It's about halfway between the cozy towns of Canso and Guysborough (20-minute drive each), roughly 50 minutes from the well-known town of Antigonish (St. Francis Xavier University), and less than 3 hours from Halifax and the international airport. Plots: Gently sloping land with great views and a magnificent shoreline are some of the standout features of this development. Each plot offers the opportunity to build your own dock. The water is deep enough to accommodate almost any boat. A public road, electricity, and high-speed internet are connected to each plot. Plot sizes range from about 2 to 4 acres with 200 to 320 feet of easily accessible waterfront. While all plots have a prime spot near the water for building, plots 7-14 also offer a second spot further up the hill with stunning views. Plot 13 has its own sandy beach on a small point. All plots are approved for building. There are no building restrictions in this district, but some protective measures are in place to maintain the positive character of this development into the future. Shellfish Farming and Natural Beauty: Witness the bustling activities of shellfish farmers at work, utilizing the rich waters or watch seals swim bye looking for salmon while bold eagles observe these waters from above. Plots as Investment: Good investment opportunities are hard to come by. These prime waterfront plots are ideal for building a cottage or a home, providing leisure activities and relaxation. Simultaneously, these plots are an excellent investment opportunity. As it becomes increasingly challenging to find attractive waterfront properties, annual price increases are expected to continue.
