A truly special Savary Island custom built waterfront home, beautifully crafted on a rare double-wide lot with sweeping southern ocean views. Just over 1,600 sqft, this 2-bedroom post-and-beam home showcases exposed woodwork, solid fir floors and exceptional craftsmanship throughout. Expansive glazing fills the open living space with natural light and brings the outdoors in, while the thoughtful design makes the most of its setting. The main bathroom features a bath with a view and slate-tiled shower, while huge waterfront and rear decks extend the living space outside. Eagle's nest in a tree at the waterfront, and return each year to raise their young - remarkably, you can view this all happening through the living room skylight. A double shop provides storage and workspace, while an excellent solar package, deep well and septic make island living comfortable and practical. A wonderfully unique Savary property, built with care and designed to embrace its surroundings. (id:39198)
