This beautiful 30-acre property still carries the historic name of Watsons Salmon River Farm. Overlooking the banks of the Saint John River, it features a charming farmhouse built in 1906 and extensively updated in 2014, along with five well-maintained outbuildings offering incredible possibilities for farming, horses, a home-based business or mixed uses. The property includes 22.74 acres surrounding the farmhouse and outbuildings, plus an additional 7.38 acres across the road with frontage on the Salmon River. Wide-open spaces and rolling hills create the peaceful rural setting so many people dream about. An impressive 110' x 46' storage building features a 26' x 18' door and room along the side for stalls and a tack room, offering exciting potential as a riding arena or for agricultural and storage uses. A separate large workshop/storage building could be ideal for a mechanic, tradesperson or farm equipment. The extensively renovated barn is currently home to Steelecroft Kennels and Boarding, with a newly poured floor, laundry facilities, heating and cooling. A small potato storage building and detached garage with loft complete the outbuildings, all well maintained with metal roofs and power. At the heart of the property is the lovely farmhouse. The kitchen sits at the center of the home, while a farm office at the back overlooks the property. Upstairs are four bedrooms, including one currently used as a dressing room adjoining the primary bedroom. A 2014 expansion across the front and side of the home added a main-level bedroom and bright, light-filled dining room. A newer metal roof and two ductless heat pumps add comfort and practicality. Whether your dream includes horses, farming, a home-based business, room to roam or simply a quieter life surrounded by beautiful New Brunswick countryside, Watsons Salmon River Farm offers something increasingly hard to find.
